Paul Scott

Paul is a chartered accountant with over fifteen years of experience in financial management, system design and implementation, acquisitions and disposals, and company secretarial work.

His career was built on a law degree from Glasgow University and his training as a chartered accountant. On qualifying with a leading firm of accountants, he joined their computer consultancy division where he worked extensively with financial and IT systems throughout Scotland. This led to a UK wide training role ultimately leading training activity for the UK audit practice and covering both technical and management development activities. His financial management experience ranges from smaller private companies through to PLCs and covers both manufacturing and service sectors, with the last few years spent in the information technology area.

David Ashton

David has been developing new business for over 10 years, predominantly in the IT sector. With a very strong network of contacts throughout the industry, an enviable reputation and a proven track record, most of our BIZAL clients have arrived by recommendation. It is also fair to say that David still provides hands on skills as well as strategic consultancy, which is the ethos for BIZAL team.

They met when they worked for a leading Scottish technology reseller in the late nineties. When their paths crossed again they were both working for growing companies and recognised the benefits of the integrated approach that they could offer covering sales development and financial management.

Both bring front line experience of many years in their respective fields, and believe that they can make a difference for their clients by the application of the practical lessons they have learnt. They are also firmly committed to working practically with their clients in implementing their recommendations to achieve the business goals.
